Your router runs on DD-WRT or OpenWrt router firmware
ShieldMe is actively developed and tested on top of DD-WRT and OpenWrt.
It goes without saying, that your router must run either of them to support ShieldMe.
However, keep in mind that it is up to you to get either of them running on your router device!
OpenWrt and DD-WRT are open source firmware developed and designed for specific router models and used as a replacement for the inconsistent manufacturer’s stock firmware.

Generally, to have your router run either firmware, you have 2 options:
